HOW DOES PARY MOPPINS FIND YOUR
TRUSTED SITTER?
Before starting to plan, we will ask all parents whether they want to have a video call to help us understand any preferences or concerns, if they wish so. At any point, they are free to let us know they do not want to take up the evening out. You will then receive a full refund.

Would like to gift your time to look after the kids? What an amazing gesture! We’ll mix you in with the other options. The parent(s) can then see what availability works best for them.
Not too keen on babysitting? No problem at all! You shouldn’t feel like you have to put yourself forward. We will make sure we find someone.

Parents can invite the people they already trust and use to their “Trust Circle” on the platform. This can be you, family, friends, or sitters they already work with.

When parents don’t have a support network yet, we can match them with sitters we know and trust.
All sitters come pre-vetted by us, and DBS-checked.We work with experienced childcare professionals and have a large network of nursery staff.
When preferred, parents can meet the sitters beforehand via video call.
How do the vouchers work?
When you gift a Pary Moppins voucher, the recipient can redeem it for a fully organised evening out, including a sitter, a fantastic restaurant or activity, and all the planning taken care of. Once they activate their voucher, we’ll handle everything from scheduling to bookings.
Can the recipient choose their own sitter?
Yes! Recipients can invite sitters they already know and trust to their Trust Circle. If no sitters are available, we can help arrange one from our trusted network. If the gifter has offered to babysit, they’ll also be included in this network. It’s entirely up to the parents to decide whether to take them up on the offer, depending on availability and their preferences.
What’s included in the voucher?
Each voucher covers both a sitter and an evening out (restaurant or activity). The exact experience depends on the tier you select:
The Casual One: Perfect for a relaxed outing.
The Smart One: A more refined and stylish evening.
The Classy One: A luxurious, indulging experience.
What if the budget isn’t enough for their chosen sitter or restaurant?
If the cost exceeds the voucher amount, the recipient will need to pay the extra amount directly to the sitter or the restaurant themselves. We’ll make the process clear and transparent, ensuring there are no surprises.
How is the budget allocated between the sitter and the evening out?
The budget in the voucher is used flexibly. If the recipient chooses a free sitter (e.g., a family member or friend), the entire budget goes toward the evening out. If a paid sitter is needed, part of the budget covers their fee, with the remainder used for the restaurant or activity.
How long is the voucher valid?
Pary Moppins vouchers are valid for one year, from 1 January 2024, giving the recipient plenty of time to have their perfect evening out planned for them. Evenings out will be planned from 1 January 2025 onwards.

Parents looking for something different? No problem! Although we mainly focus on restaurants for the moment, they can let us know in their preferences if they want us to look for other activities close by. Think theatre, cinema, or something more active, like learning something new at a workshop.

Hi! We’re Sara and Fred, founders of Pary Moppins. As parents of three wonderful boys, we know how easy it is to lose touch with who you are outside of parenting.
With Sara’s background as a former nanny for multiple families, we always put the kids first, but also know that parents are often forgotten in the daily whirlwind of parenthood.
That’s why we created Pary Moppins—to inspire parents to prioritise themselves, reconnect, and rediscover the joy of evenings out.
