TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last updated: 06 June 2025

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Pary Moppins, a service operated by Parently Ltd (Company No. 15395670, registered at 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX). By interacting with Pary Moppins — including submitting forms, participating in our testing service, or booking a sitter or destination — you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our service.

2. Service Description

Pary Moppins helps parents arrange curated outing by combining trusted sitters and recommended venues (“Services”). We are currently in a testing phase. Services are offered manually (e.g. via forms, messages, and direct communication), and there is no live app or website platform yet.

We do not employ sitters. Sitters are self-employed or informal carers. Any agreement for childcare is between the parent and the sitter.

3. Eligibility

Our services are only available to users in the UK who are 18 or older.

By using the service, you confirm that:

  • You are legally responsible for any children in your care

  • You are not barred from receiving childcare services

  • You have never been convicted of a criminal offence involving children

4. Responsibilities and Conduct

As a parent:

  • You are responsible for providing a safe, lawful, and respectful environment for the sitter.

  • If the sit ends after 22:00 (or 23:00 where public transport is unavailable), you must pay for the sitter’s journey home.

  • You must ensure you have suitable home or liability insurance.

As a sitter:

  • You confirm you are at least 18 years old and entitled to work in the UK.

  • You are solely responsible for your taxes and insurance.

  • If you declare credentials (e.g. DBS or Ofsted), these must be accurate. We do not verify them.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove any user from our service at our discretion if we believe they are breaching these Terms or behaving inappropriately.

5. Fees and Payment

  • Booking a Pary Moppins experience includes a Booking Fee, payable in advance.

  • Sitters are paid directly by parents. Pary Moppins does not handle sitter payments.

  • All fees and pricing will be clearly communicated before confirmation.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

  • If we cannot fulfil your booking (e.g. sitter cancellation, venue closure), we will offer an alternative or a refund of your Booking Fee.

  • If you choose not to use your subscription or booking for any reason, refunds will not be provided unless required by law.

Venue-specific cancellation fees may apply — we will notify you in advance where relevant.

7. Disputes and Liability

Any agreement made between a parent and a sitter is solely between those parties. Pary Moppins is not a party to those agreements and accepts no liability for the services provided (or not provided) by either party.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

  • Our total liability to you is capped at £10,000.

  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, copy, visuals, and materials provided by Pary Moppins are owned by or licensed to Parently Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use our content without permission.

9. Anti-Discrimination

We are committed to fostering an inclusive community. Discrimination based on age, gender, race, disability, religion, or any protected characteristic is not tolerated. Violations may result in permanent removal from our service.

10. Privacy

We respect your privacy and will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the most recent version on our website and notify you of any material changes. Your continued use of the service means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. All disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
